I have had some questions as to why my kids a hitting the fish. Up hear when you bring these big Samoan out of the water they are so big and have big teeth you have to hit them over the head with what they call them up her a bong er they sale these little bat (bongers) at the store,and it kills the fish. My kids love to do this and fight over who gets to hit (bong) the fish first.
The Samoan are running right now and their are thousands of fish .We have so much fun catching them . You snag the fish to catch them so you cast out in the water with this big hook. We have a lot of fun and if you ask my dad he can tell you about last year when he snagged a Samoan and the fish snagged him in the hand . Dad was caught.

That's pretty cool! I was wondering why they were hitting the fish! My kids would probably love doing that, too! So do you guys think you will be there for a while in Juneau?
I knew there must be a reason why thy would do that! Tells you how much we know about fishing in Alaska! I love seeing the pictures!
